Getting started on Main and Me is as easy as uploading a photo to Facebook

IF YOU ARE A BUSINESS OWNER:

To create a store page for your local business:

1. Use your smartphone or digital camera to snap a beautiful photo of a product or service you sell
2. Upload photo to your computer
3. Go to www.mainandme.com website
4. Log in at upper right
   • Log in through Facebook to use your Facebook name
   • Log in through Twitter to use your Twitter account name
5. Click on the “Add” button in the top navigation bar
6. Select the photo from your computer (just like you do on Facebook)
7. Add the photo’s name, price range, description and category (or not, and come back later to edit the photo)
8. Select your store as the source of the item: Begin typing the store name.
9. If the store is already on Main and Me, select it from the auto-completed drop-down menu and click “Save”
10. If the store is new to the network, add the address and click “Save”
11. Click “Save” at the bottom right of the “Add Photo” dialog box

To access or share your new Store page:

1. Back on the home page, click on the blue store name at bottom of your photo to go to your Store page
2. Bookmark your Store page for easy access, or find it by entering name in search box
3. Use the social sharing feature to share a link to your page via email, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, etc.
4. Copy and paste your Store’s URL into email newsletters you share with your list

IF YOU ARE A SHOPPER:

To add a product photo to your wish list or registry:

1. Use your smartphone or digital camera to snap a photo of a product from a local business
2. Upload photo to your computer
3. Go to www.mainandme.com website
4. Log in at upper right
   1. Log in through Facebook to use your Facebook name
   2. Log in through Twitter to use your Twitter account name
5. Click on the “Add” button in the top navigation bar
6. Select the photo from your computer (just like you do on Facebook)
7. Add the photo’s name, price range, description and category (or not, and come back later to edit the photo)
8. Select the store where you found the item: Begin typing the store name.
9. If the store is already on Main and Me, select it from the auto-completed drop-down menu and click “Save”
10. If the store is new to the network, add the address and click “Save”
11. Click “Save” at the bottom right of the “Add Photo” dialog box

To access or share your new User page:

1. Click on your icon at upper right (whenever you are logged in) to access your User page , or
2. Click on your name name at bottom of any of your photos to access your User page
3. Bookmark your User page for easy access, or find it by entering your name in search box
4. Use the social sharing feature to share a link to your page via email, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, etc.

IF YOU ARE A DOWNTOWN DIRECTOR, OR CITIZEN JUST PRO-ACTIVELY PUTTING YOUR TOWN ONLINE

To start a Community Page for your city, town or neighborhood that displays all the businesses from your area, just add a product photo to the network as follows:

1. Use your smartphone or digital camera to snap a photo of a product at a local business
2. Upload photo to your computer
3. Go to www.mainandme.com website
4. Log in at upper right
   1. Log in through Facebook to use your Facebook name
   2. Log in through Twitter to use your Twitter account name
5. Click on the “Add” button in the top navigation bar
6. Select the photo from your computer (just like you do on Facebook)

3. Bookmark your Community page for access, or find it by entering city and state as indicated in search box
4. Use the social sharing feature to share a link to your Community page via email, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, etc.
5. Copy and paste your Community page’s URL into email newsletters you share with your list
